One of the most commonly asked questions we are asked is “what is the best way to properly package sports and trading cards in a bubble mailer for safe shipment?” In fact, we see this question posted so often we decided to put together a tutorial.
In the video below, we demonstrate our recommended method to ship cards in a bubble mailer. Trust us… your buyers will thank you!

What’s up, everybody? So today, we’ll show you how to correctly ship a card in a bubble mailer. So for our supplies- bubble mailer, scissors, painters tape, packaging tape, graded card bags, the card we sold, and some cut-out cardboard.
So first things first, we’re going to take some painter’s tape and we’re actually just going to cover the top of the card; you always want to ship your card in a top loader. This painter’s tape is going to prevent the card from actually coming out during transit and getting damaged. Next team bag in our cardboard cutouts. This is just going to provide a little extra protection on both sides of the card nice and snug in there. If you do notice there’s room for multiple cards do the same process every card should be sealed with painter’s tape and not scotch tape that is the bane of every collector. We’re just gonna fold this over nice see the card really has nowhere to go.
Over the years I’ve gotten feedback that actually sometimes these do not fit in a mailbox in either apartment buildings or some of the community development. So if you split this down the middle, it keeps the card nice and snug. It keeps our cost of shipping down because now we have two instead of one. It’s gonna go right in here. Okay, packaging tape, we’re gonna do one; it’s just a little larger than the width of the top just seal it right. We can bend this part over a little bit, this one’s pretty snug, bend that over and then one more longer piece of packaging just bend that over nice and clean. And that gives you room to either write out addresses on here or printed putting a shipping label like we typically do.
Hope this video helps if you have any questions feel free to contact us. I’m also gonna be dropping some links on the items we use to make our lives easier and you can find them mostly on Amazon and eBay. Thanks so much, and hope you learned something today.
